HIstory

This car has been owned by the present owner for 11 years. It is a real deal honest car that has been religiously maintained and stored in a heated garage. It has been driven an average of 400 miles per year over the last 11 years and currently displays 47,400 original miles. The paint would be rated a strong 9 on a 10 scale and the interior is fresh with new seat covers, door trim panels, and an outstanding original headliner. The frame on the car is one of the best you will ever find. It is typical Southern California with a smooth finish that has never been exposed to east coast harsh weather elements. Being a coupe, this car is tight with no squeaks or rattles. All of the body panels line up perfectly and the doors shut with ease. Every component including the clock and the cigarette lighter work as they should.

The car maintains extremely strong originality. When it was necessary to replace a component, I always strove to find NOS parts. Comprehensive maintenance and parts replacement receipts are available. If you are interested in competing, this is a car that will hold it’s own on the field without being a trailer queen that prohibits enjoyment.

The build date of this car is April 11, 1967. It was sold and delivered in San Diego, California. It is one of the few unmolested California smog cars existing with the rare A.I.R. system in place. I have all the original numbers for the system, as well as the engine pad, transmission, cast dates, and anything else you might be interested in down to the key numbers. These will be graciously discussed with qualified serious buyers. Please address any potential obstacles involving finances, insurance, or significant others prior to our discussions.
